2.      Approval of Minutes of  October 21, Conservancy Meeting.

 

 

3.   CONSENT

 

A.    Consideration and possible authorization to disburse up to $50,000 to the City of Carpinteria to prepare environmental compliance documents for a segment of the California  Coastal Trail to provide public access to and along the Santa Barbara Channel shoreline, Santa Barbara County.

 

B.     Consideration and possible Conservancy authorization for the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) to disburse up to $90,000 of previously-granted Conservancy funds to the Port of San Francisco to install trail improvements in connection with the construction of an 800-foot-long segment of the Bay Trail in Fisherman’s Wharf, San Francisco.

 

C.     Consideration and possible Conservancy  authorization for the City of San Diego to expend up to $56,000 to complete a Vernal Pool Habitat Conservation Plan for the City’s southwestern portion, including Del Mar, Mira, Kearny, Otay Mesas; Carmel Mountain, Mission Trails Regional Park; Otay Lakes; and Marron Valley, San Diego County.

5.      Consideration and possible Conservancy authorization to disburse up to $500,000 to the City of Santa Cruz for the construction of interpretive exhibits within the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary Exploration Center in the City of Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz County.

 

 

SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

 

6.      Consideration and possible Conservancy authorization to disburse up to $400,000 of grant funds from the Wildlife Conservation Board and up to $300,000 of grant funds from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, provided through the Association of Bay Area Governments, to San Francisco State University and to environmental services contractors to augment the previously authorized San Francisco Bay Living Shorelines Project.

 

7.      Consideration and possible Conservancy authorization to disburse up to $300,000 to Sonoma County Regional Parks to complete analysis, planning and final preparation for the Tolay Lake Regional Park Master Plan to improve resource management and public access in southwestern Sonoma County.

 

8.      Consideration and possible Conservancy authorization to disburse up to $289,950 to the Trust for Public Land to develop a Master Plan for Glen Canyon Park, San Francisco, including a plan for the recreation area and a plan and design for enhancement of trails.

 

 

SOUTH COAST

 

9.         Consideration and possible Conservancy authorization to disburse up to $300,000 to the San Francisco Estuary Institute (SFEI) for the Historical Ecology Study of North San Diego County Coastal Wetlands.

 

 

NORTH COAST

 

10.  Consideration and possible Conservancy authorization to disburse up to $500,000 to the Cher-Ae Heights Indian Community of the Trinidad Rancheria to reconstruct the Trinidad Pier on Trinidad Bay, Humboldt County.

*CONSERVANCY TOUR – SANTA CRUZ PROJECTS

DECEMBER 1, 2010, 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM*

 

The Conservancy tour will begin at 1:00 PM at Depot Park in Santa Cruz (Washington Street at Pacific Avenue). Tour will include site of future Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary Exploration Center and several projects of the Integrated Watershed Restoration Program. Members of the public are welcome to join the tour, but need to provide their own transportation and lunch.
