2030. Consideration and possible Conservancy authorization to amend the Conservancy’s November 6, 2008 authorization to change the Conservancy’s condition for the fee transfer date of the Wild Cherry Canyon Property, San Luis Obispo County, to the California Department of Parks and Recreation from 2025 to 2030.

1. Consideration and possible Conservancy authorization to disburse up to $100,000 to Point Reyes Bird Observatory to model ecological changes to San Francisco Bay wetland habitats based on a range of sea level rise and salinity change projections due to climate change and develop recommendations of high priority sites for wetland restoration and conservation in  light of the predictions.

16. Consideration and possible Conservancy authorization to disburse up to $100,000 to the City of Arcata for acquisition of approximately 16.3 acres and an adjacent access easement to add to the Arcata Forest Trail system in Arcata, Humboldt County.

1. Consideration and possible Conservancy authorization to disburse up to $98,335 to the County of Marin to conduct parcel-level planning for salmon habitat enhancement in the San Geronimo Creek Watershed in Western Marin County.

1. Consideration and possible Conservancy authorization to disburse up to $75,000 to support the design, permitting, and other work associated with implementation of the Napa River Salt Marsh Restoration Project, Napa County.

1. Consideration and possible Conservancy authorization to disburse up to $50,000 to the Northcoast Regional Land Trust to design and permit the Freshwater Nature Trail at the Freshwater Farms property in Humboldt County.

1. Consideration and possible Conservancy authorization to disburse up to $35,500 to the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens to design ADA accessibility improvements to the trail system at its site in Fort Bragg, Mendocino County.

1. Consideration and possible Conservancy authorization to disburse up to $25,000 to Get Inspired! for the Orange County Kelp Restoration Project, Laguna Beach, Orange County.

1. Consideration and possible Conservancy authorization to disburse up to $100,000 to the County of Del Norte to complete Battery Point Lighthouse enhancements to ensure continued public access to the lighthouse building, island grounds and trail in Crescent City, Del Norte County.

1. Consideration and possible authorization to disburse up to $300,000 to the Humboldt County Resource Conservation District to prepare final designs for the Salt River Ecosystem Restoration Project near Ferndale, Humboldt County.

1. Consideration and possible Conservancy authorization to revise the Hamilton Wetlands Restoration Project (“HWRP”) in Novato, Marin County to include conversion of a former water treatment building near the project site to a native plant nursery to grow plants for the seasonal wetland and upland areas of the project site; and certification of an Addendum to the Environmental Impact Report for the HWRP.

SOUTH COAST

5. Consideration and possible Conservancy authorization to disburse up to $4,000,000 to The Nature Conservancy for the acquisition of properties in the lower river to further implement the Santa Clara River Parkway project, Ventura County.

6. Consideration and possible Conservancy authorization to transfer jurisdiction of the property located at 24038 Malibu Road, City of Malibu, to the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy; approval of a revised Implementation Plan for the transfer of the property; and authorization to disburse up to $994,000 to the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority for the purpose of constructing a public beach access stairway on the property.

7. Consideration and possible Conservancy authorization to disburse up to $690,997 in grant funds from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to the City of Long Beach to dredge, treat, and dispose of contaminated sediments from Colorado Lagoon in Long Beach, Los Angeles County.

Consideration and possible Conservancy authorization to disburse up to $500,000 to the City of Rancho Palos Verdes for the Palos Verdes Peninsula Coastal Trail, including final design and construction of approximately nine miles of the California Coastal Trail located within the City of Rancho Palos Verdes and the Palos Verdes Nature Preserve, Los Angeles County.

9. Consideration and possible Conservancy authorization to disburse up to $400,000 to the Crystal Cove Alliance to assist with the Crystal Cove Historic District Beaches Cottage Restoration in Crystal Cove State Park, Orange County.

10. Consideration and possible Conservancy authorization to disburse up to $250,000 to the City of San Diego to prepare a plan and environmental compliance documents for reclamation of the Nelson Sloan Quarry in the Tijuana River Valley for open space and habitat purposes.

11. Consideration and possible Conservancy authorization to disburse up to $126,000 to the Laguna Canyon Foundation for pre-project expenses associated with future acquisition of property interests in the South Coast Wilderness system of parks and preserves, Orange County.

NORTH COAST

12. Consideration and possible Conservancy authorization to disburse up to $500,000 to the City of Fort Bragg to acquire approximately 12 acres of the Georgia-Pacific former mill site in Fort Bragg, Mendocino County, for the future site of the Noyo Center for Science and Education.

13. Consideration and possible Conservancy authorization to disburse up to $275,000 to Jughandle Creek Farm and Nature Center (JCFNC) for architectural programming, schematic designs and construction cost estimates for additional educational and lodging facilities and an improved trail system, to be installed at the JCFNC property in Caspar, Mendocino County.

SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

14. Consideration and possible modification of the Conservancy’s April 27, 2006 authorization to disburse $2,000,000 to the Land Trust of Napa County toward acquisition of Wildlake Ranch in Napa County by providing for conditional waiver of the repayment condition and adding associated conditions.

15. Consideration and possible Conservancy authorization to accept $357,000 from the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation; authorization to disburse up to this amount plus an additional $300,000 to further the Bay Area Ecosystems Climate Change Consortium’s development of climate change research priorities, adaptation practices and pilot projects in the San Francisco Bay Area; and authorization to disburse up to $150,000 of the total amount to Point Reyes Bird Observatory to coordinate the science review, technical support and mapping efforts of the Consortium.

16. Consideration and possible Conservancy authorization to disburse up to $475,000 to the City of Petaluma to complete analysis, engineered designs and permits for the rehabilitation of the historic trestle on the Petaluma River for public access in downtown Petaluma, Sonoma County.

17. Consideration and possible Conservancy authorization to disburse up to $450,000 to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for the Coastal Conservancy’s share of post-construction monitoring costs of the Sonoma Baylands Wetlands Restoration Demonstration Project pursuant to the 1994 Project Cooperation Agreement, Southern Sonoma County.

18. Consideration and possible Conservancy approval of the Implementation Plan for the conveyance of the Sonoma Baylands Wetlands Restoration Demonstration Project Site, located in southern Sonoma County, to the United States Fish and Wildlife Service for inclusion in the San Pablo Bay National Wildlife Refuge and authori­zation for the Executive Officer to request that the Depart­ment of General Services assist in the transfer of the property in ac­cordance with the Implementation Plan and to take all actions necessary to transfer the property.

19. Consideration and possible authorization to disburse up to $420,000 to the San Francisco Parks Trust to conduct conservation planning in the nine-county San Francisco Bay Area, including outreach and coordination among Bay Area land conservation entities, with all activities to be undertaken through the Bay Area Open Space Council.

20. Consideration and possible authorization to disburse up to $250,000 to the Bay Area Toll Authority (BATA) to prepare a park planning and feasibility study for the future Gateway Park adjacent to the eastern base of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, Alameda County.

The Conservancy tour will begin at 11:30 AM at Lechuza Beach, pedestrian entrance on West Sea Level Drive. Members of the public are welcome to join the tour, but need to provide their own transportation and lunch.

N.B.:   At any time during the meeting, but prior to the adjournment of the open session of the meeting, the Conservancy may recess or adjourn to closed session to consider personnel matters, prices and terms of real estate transactions, and possible and pending litigation.  Session will be closed to the public pursuant to attorney-client privilege and statutory authorization under Government Code Section 11126(a), (c)(7), and (e).
