Initial 100 Year CoSMoS Results Released!
We are pleased to announce that the initial 100 year storm results from the U.S. Geological Survey’s (USGS) Coastal Storm Modeling System (CoSMoS) are now available for download for the Los Angeles region. The Coastal Conservancy funded this project to provide the most complete information on the likely impacts of storms, combined with other factors such as tides, sea level rise and erosion, to help local residents prepare for increased storm events due to climate change. USC Sea Grant is providing training on the model.
